How to Access Your Iowa Central Student Email

Iowa Central provides an email account for all current students. Student email is used to communicate important events such as class cancellations, closings due to inclement weather, and campus activities.

Step 1: Go to http://www.iowacentral.com

Step 2: First, we must find your username. Click on the Email link at the top of the page.

Step 3: Click on the Student Directory link.

Step 4: Find your name in the list and look to the right. Your last name, and the number behind it, is your user name. Your email address is in the format: username@iccc.cc.ia.us

Step 5: Go back to the main email page and click on the Student Login link at the top.

Step 6: Enter your username all in caps in the first prompt. Enter your password in the second prompt. Your password is the first three letters of your last name, combined with the last four digits of your social security number, no spaces. Your password is also all caps.

For example, if your name was Jane Smith with a social security number of 123-45-6789, your password would be: SMI6789

Step 7: Next you will come to a welcome page, important announcements are posted here. Click the Continue link to continue.

Step 8: Click on the Main link to open your main mailbox and view your email.
