High
School Credit Courses
Students
may take classes for transfer to their local school district or
to earn credit towards an Iowa Central Adult High School Diploma.
-
Guided,
independent study: A team of certified instructors and qualified
tutors assist students from the day they apply to the end of
their study. The classes are arranged in an independent study
format. Students work as independently as possible and proceed
at their own learning rate. Most students finish one class in
about 40 hours.
-
Enrollment:
Students may begin their studies at any time.
High school students must obtain written approval from their
local school district prior to enrollment.
-
Fees:
Fees are $103.00 per semester course plus a $11 registration fee
for new students. Fees must be paid before students begin each
class.
-
Attendance:
Students can attend the Center year-round. They arrange their
own schedule and study as many hours each day, and as many days
each week, as they desire. Regular attendance is vital to success!
The more regularly students attend the center, the sooner they
complete their classes.
