It is our pleasure to have the opportunity to welcome you to the Iowa Central Community College Student Activity/Intramural website and extend to you an invitation to participate in the programs that are offered. It is our hope to serve the Iowa Central community more effectively and efficiently through this website. Please feel free to contact us with comments, questions, and suggestions at anytime.
The student activity/intramural programs offer you opportunities to become involved, to meet new people and compete while having fun. It is our goal in both activities and intramurals to bring something different to your educational experience.
With student activities, our goal is to bring in a variety of entertainment to open the eyes of our students to other things other than athletics, class work and normal day to day things dealing with education. Throughout the course of the year, the student activity office brings in comedians, hypnotist, live music, mentalist and other fun things to experience like funny photos and wax hands. By keeping students engaged in different activities throughout the school year, we feel this helps ensure they are getting the most out of their college experience.
The intramural sports programs are one of the more popular activites on campus. It is a great way to continue to play the sports you have grown to love. Intramural programs are offered in both a team setting and also an individual setting. The intramural staff organizes leagues, supervises play, monitors and tracks league standings and organizes tournaments. With intramural sports, we want you to compete hard but also in a friendly manner.
