Mathematics Department Courses
Iowa Central offers a wide range of mathematics courses. The traditional sequence starts with Language of Mathematics and two algebra courses, leads through Trigonometry and Precalculus, and then culminates with three courses in calculus as well as a course in ordinary Differential Equations. The non-calculus sequence includes two courses in statistics, and one course each in Finite Mathematics and Business Calculus. Other courses such as Math for Elementary Teachers, Engineering Problems and several computer programming courses serve the needs of students majoring in those areas.
