Intramural Activities F.A.Q.
1. What is Intramural Sports?
Intramural Sports are available to Iowa Central students, employees and affiliates. Sport leagues within the college are offered in the form of men’s, women’s and co-recreational play. The variety of sports offered allows individuals to participate in physical activity that best meets their interests.
2. How do I sign up for IM Sports?
A captain must fill out a team entry form and turn it into the Intramural office by the registration deadline. Entry forms may be picked up from the Intramural Bulletin board, located in the Triton Inn or submitted from the team registration link on the Intramural home page.
3. What if I do not have a team?
If you do not have enough members to form a team, you may sign up as a free agent at the Intramural Bulletin board. A team will be formed from the Free Agent list prior to competition.
4. How much does it cost to participate?
There is no charge to participate in Intramural Sports unless otherwise stated.
6. Can I add players to my roster?
You may add players to your roster prior to playoffs but must inform an intramural staff member by contacting the office.
7. How do I know when my team plays?
Game times will always be posted on the Intramural bulletin board located in the Triton Inn. It is the responsibility of the team captain to ensure their team is informed of game times.
8. What happens if my team forfeits?
If a team forfeits they may be subject to league disqualification.
