Maintenance Program
Mechanical Maintenance Option
The
Mechanical Maintenance Technician Program provides training essential
for entry-level positions as machine repairer, building and plant
maintenance technicians. The program will provide basic skills in
welding, fabrication, plumbing, pneumatics and hydraulics, blueprint
reading, residential wiring, and conduit bending. Students will
utilize hands-on training to install, maintain, and troubleshoot
the equipment currently utilized by today’s industries. Upon
completion of the program, the graduates will be awarded a Diploma
in Industrial Maintenance. All courses taken will also satisfy some
of the requirements for other Industrial Technology Associate Degree
programs.
This
one-year program is aimed at High School graduates and those already
in the workforce and is designed to train individuals to meet the
needs of area industries.

Graduates
of this one-year program will be awarded a diploma in Industrial
