Admission into the Nursing Program
1. Complete an Iowa Central Application.
2. Complete the 2009 Nursing Application Packet (.pdf).
3.
Submit a copy of your high school transcripts or GED scores.
(minimum requirement of a high school diploma (GPA
2.5) or equivalent (GED 550)
4.
Submit a copy of your assessment scores.
(ACT, ASSET, or COMPASS scores must meet the minimum
requirements: ACT score of 18 or above in English, Reading, and Math; COMPASS scores (Writing
65, Reading 80, Pre-Algebra 46), or ASSET score of 40 in each category
(writing, reading, numeric)
5.
Submit college transcripts.
If previous college credit courses have been taken, the GPA must
be at least 2.0

7. If you have your LPN license, please complete the Second-Level Nursing Application and return it to the Health Science Office. When a position is available the next qualified student on the list will be contacted.
